Service:
All in-stock orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. All orders with items on backorder will be held for up to one week. If we expect longer delays, we will contact you.
Packaging:
Often, we will ship orders in sturdy used boxes with used filler. We are reusing these items in order to reduce waste. Please reuse them again.
Shipping charges:
We ship via the US Postal Service, the United Parcel Service and Federal Express. Please call for shipping charges if ordering from Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. For orders over 200 lb., faster shipping or truck deliveries, please call for a shipping quote. If you can not receive UPS shipping, please call or fax your order.
How to Order by Mail or Fax:
Print out the order form, located on the products page. Fill out the form completely. Send it to 2800 Sisson Street Baltimore, MD 21211, or fax it to (410) 889-8785. You may also place and order over the telephone by dialing (410) 889-8784 (Please have you completed order form ready when you call).
Payment Information:
East Coast Organics accepts Visa, MasterCard and checks for payment. CODs are not allowed. Please allow time for check to be processed before order shipment. Commercial accounts are encouraged.
Returns:
Items may be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase, provided the product is in resale condition in its original packaging. Please call (410) 889-8784 before sending in a return. All returns must be securely wrapped, freight prepaid and insured against loss or damage. Special orders, such as split cases, cannot be returned. For defective products, please call and we may request that you return the item directly to the manufacturer.
Organic Status:
East Coast Organics does not guarantee the accordance of any of its products to the organic standards of any certifying agencies. All products so noted as "organic" are to the best of our knowledge organic as described by OMRI and the USDA’s National Organic Program.

Receipt of Truck Orders, UPS & FedEx:
Please be aware you are responsible for the unloading of your product. Please be prepared to receive your order. Some trucking companies may charge you extra if you are unable to unload within 15 minutes. Do not sign for your truck order until you have checked for your complete order and for obvious and concealed damage. You will be held accountable if you do not note any count discrepancy or damage on the bill of lading. Also, if there is noticeable damage to your UPS or FedEx delivery, report it to the driver before he leaves. If the package was left and you find it damaged or if you find damage after the driver has left, you may call to file a report later. Please call us immediately if there are any problems.
